How to order our design service

Ordering roller banner design from us is easy. Just give us a call on 01298 605010 or send us an email. Alternatively, click one of the ‘Get Started’ buttons and complete the short form with your details. We will send you an invoice and payment can be made by debit card over the phone, BACS or cheque.

What to include on your banner will depend on what you want to use it for but here are some ideas:

  • Copy: Keep it brief. Choose a heading to grab attention. A few key bullet points will be more effective than a paragraph of text. Make sure it’s spell checked!
  • Space:Think about the visible space on your banner – will the banner be behind a table/stand? Create a heading that will grab attention.
  • Images: People respond well to photos. These should be 150dpi or over. Make sure you have sought the appropriate permissions/rights to use any images.
  • Accreditations: Showing accreditation logos can make smaller businesses look more credible.
  • Special offers: A unique offer will generate more interest and enable you to track the repsonse rate of your campaign. Combine your offer with a time limit to create some urgency and cap it off with a call to action.
  • Contact details: In an exhibition setting, you do not need to include all your contact details on your banner, but do include your web address!

What happens once I have placed my order?

Once you have ordered a banner design, we will contact you to find out what you would like us to include in the design. You can send any logos, images and text by email.

When we have received your information we will start work on the banner design. This stage usually takes about 3-5 working days but please contact us for timescales, as these can vary. We will then send you the design(s) to check.

If you need revisions after this initial stage, you can send us your feedback and we will move onto the revision stage. We aim to complete revisions within 24hrs. We will work on the design until you are happy with the layout.

Once the design is finalised, we will send you all the files you require for print.

FAQs

The cost of roller banner depends on the complexity of the design you require. To simplify things we have three levels of design service:

£85 for a simple design (text and logo on a standard background colour).
£140 for a more complicated design (this is our most popular option – photos and text with a branded background).
£190 for a complex design (generally when there is a lot of content, or where bespoke graphics are required).

If you are not sure just send us through your content and further details and we’ll confirm the cost.

Our roller banners measure 850mm wide by 2000mm tall. The actual artwork we produce measures 850mm wide by 2150 tall, as some of the fabric remains rolled up inside the banner canister.

We ask our customers to supply proof-read text, photos and logos before we start work. If you need us to supply royalty free stock images, just let us know.

This will depend entirely on what the banner is being used for. As a guide, include clear and concise text along with any contact details. Photos are good for attracting attention. If you need us to supply high resolution royalty free stock images, just let us know. We will also need your logo, and any other logos you would like us to include in the design.

The design cost does not include printing.

If you already have an artwork file, email it to us and we will check if we can edit it. Your previous banner may not be the same size as ours so even if you do not need any  artwork changes, we may still need to edit the file before we send it to print.

Please contact us before placing your order. Generally, our banner design service takes three to five working days for the first draft. After that, we aim to make any revisions you need within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). If you are in a hurry, and require something urgently, please let us know and we will confirm what is possible.

You can see a selection of our roller banner designs on our website portfolio. All of our designs are unique and are created to meet the client brief.

Our roller banner design service includes revisions, so we will work on your design until you are happy with it. We will send you a pdf file to check and you can call or email us with your feedback and any changes you would like us to make.

Due to the size of the banners, high resolution photos will look best. If you are not sure if your photos are suitable, feel free to email them to us and we can advise. If you need us to supply suitable large fomat print ready photos, just let us know and we can ensure to include photos within the quote.

We can supply you with a correctly sized blank file, in Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or pdf format. Or you can simply set up a new file yourself.

Your file should measure 2150mm tall by 850mm wide. The bottom 150mm of your artwork file will not show, but should include any background colour.

We recommend allowing a minimum of 10mm quiet space.

Please add 3mm bleed all the way around the edge and save your file with crop marks.

Please ensure any photos are at least 150dpi (higher is better), and your colour space is set to CMYK.

We will check your file prior to going to print and will let you know if you need to make any adjustments.
